QR Service Terms of Use
Version: 2026-11-01. By using the service or accepting these terms when subscribing, you agree to them. The Arabic text prevails if the two versions differ.
1. The service
SyntixNet provides a technical tool for creating and routing QR codes. It is not the publisher or author of customer content, does not review all content before it goes live, and its name on a code page is no endorsement of the content or its owner.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate details, confirm your e-mail, have legal capacity and authority, and you are responsible for all activity on your account.
3. Your responsibility for content
You alone are fully responsible for the content, destinations and files of your codes and any later change to them, for holding the necessary rights, and for complying with applicable law.
4. Prohibited uses
- Fraud, phishing, or collecting passwords, banking or personal data.
- Impersonating a bank, authority, company or person, or using their name or logo without authorization.
- Misleading requests for money or donations; fake invoices, fines or payment pages.
- Placing codes or stickers over those of others, or sending people somewhere other than expected.
- Malware, or links that hide their true destination.
- Changing a clean code to a violating destination after it was distributed or approved.
- Illegal, pornographic or hateful content, incitement to violence, or anything harming minors.
- Infringing intellectual property or privacy, or publishing others' data without permission.
- Spam, technical abuse of the service, or attempts to bypass its limits.
5. Right to disable and investigate
SyntixNet may, without prior notice, compensation or refund, block any code or domain or suspend or end any account when it reasonably suspects a violation, receives a report, or is asked by a competent authority. It keeps records of code creation, changes and the IP addresses used, and may provide them to authorities on lawful request or to report a crime.
6. Subscription and payment
Codes are sold in batches whose size and price are set by the site; each batch has its own period and each code stays in its batch. A paid batch starts once the amount is confirmed and the order approved. Online payment is not currently available; payment is by bank transfer with a notice. Batches do not renew automatically. Fees are not refundable after activation, unless the service cannot be provided for a reason attributable to SyntixNet or the law requires otherwise. Prices may change for future periods only.
7. Expiry and grace period
When a paid batch ends, a 14-day grace period begins in which its codes keep working and reminders go to your registered e-mail. If it ends without renewal, that batch's codes stop and show as temporarily inactive until renewal. Free trials have no grace period. Keeping track of renewal is your responsibility, and an undelivered reminder does not change the expiry. Data and files of an ended account may be deleted 90 days after the grace period.
8. Printed codes
You must test every code on different devices before printing or publishing. SyntixNet bears no cost of printing, reprinting or distribution.
9. Data and statistics
For each scan the service records the time, device type, operating system, the country when available, and a hashed value to estimate visitors, without storing the visitor's IP address. Figures are estimates. Scan records are deleted after about 13 months.
10. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". SyntixNet does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, that every code scans on every device or print condition, the accuracy of customer or external content, or any business result.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyntixNet is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, data or reputation, printing costs, or harm arising from customer content or third-party acts, including fake stickers placed over codes. Its total liability never exceeds what you paid for the service in the three months before the event. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify SyntixNet against any claim, fine, loss or reasonable legal fees arising from your content or your breach of these terms or the law.
13. Changes and ending the service
These terms may change, and you will be asked to accept the new version before continuing to use the dashboard. The service may be ended with 30 days' notice and a refund for unused time, unless ended because of a violation.
14. Code type and organization verification
- You declare for each code whether it is for an individual or an organization. An individual code is for personal use only and may not be in the name or with the logo of an organization or business; doing so is a violation that allows blocking.
- One organization is verified per account, with a license or official document required to create its codes outside the free trial, submitted by a person authorized to represent it. Organization codes may not be used for another body. A forged or incorrect document is a serious violation that allows ending the account and notifying the authorities.
- Review is a discretionary step based on what you provide. It does not guarantee the document, endorse the organization, its products or content, or move any responsibility for them to SyntixNet.
- Direct routing applies only to reviewed domains; otherwise visitors see a notice page. Verification may be withdrawn if there is reason to do so.
- Documents are kept in a private folder, used only for verification and for complaints and lawful requests, and deleted 90 days after the grace period of an ended account.
15. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Libya, whose courts have jurisdiction. Contact and reports: info@syntixnet.com.
